hiya

I have just rejoined SW after a disasterous attempt last year, I didn't plan my food properly and ended up living on supernoodles and salad on green days and ham on red days I don't intend to go doing that again........lol!!

I have about 2½st to lose, so I really need to get stuck in and get some exercising done too!

I am 43 and live just outside London with my hubby, 20yr old daughter and 19yr old son....oh and my two beautiful puddy cats - Geoffrey and Penny

I look forward to getting to know you all and hope that you can help me stay on the straight and narrow thumbs up

Speak soon
Kitty

Changing my habits (rather than eating diet food) is what I need - especially if I'm to make sure my kids have a healthy future.

hiya Kitty, welcometogroup

Sounds like some recipe books are in order laughing this plan can be so versatile, no need to get bored or eat the same stuff all the time, be creative.
Good luck with your loss, i'm sure it won't take you long to get to target weight. thumbs up

laughing I think you may be right there Shezzar!! I picked up a couple of books at the meeting this week so hopefully I wont get stuck this time.

I can be a lazy whatnot sometimes with regards to cooking which is where the problems start. Sometimes hubby just wants a sandwich when he comes home from work, the kids are out, so I end up looking for something quick to eat and keep on plan.
I think I have that problem in hand this time, I shall make an extra portion or two when I cook meals and freeze them...........now why didn't I think of that before...lol!!

i know what you mean about cooking, husband is generally home late and all son ever wants to eat is spag bol. theyre both so fussy, by the tiume ive thought of things to cook for them and sorted things out i just do something easy for me.
Youre right the key is freezing stuff. thumbs up

im sure your access will get sorted soon and you can have fun looking round the rest of the board msnwink

Hi Kitty

welcomeflag and well done on starting back with Slimming World!

I think we all struggle sometimes to prepare proper meals, but as Nicky says freezing things ahead of time is a good idea!

Good luck with your journey - keep us posted!

hiya Kitty!!

When you have access to the rest of the board you should have a nosey around the food diaries Smile It's a great way to see what quick meals others can come up with for themselves.

Good Luck with your plan!!

Whoooo hooooo!!! Just logged on and found that I have full access now yes

Now off for a good nosey around to see what everyone is up to.
SW is going well so far, and I am managing to keep off the supernoodles and salad...well, not entirely true, I had that for lunch the other day....but the only time honestly!!

I have got some spare meals in the freezer...some veg/chickpea curry and some courgette and lentil thing with sliced potato on top. So that is a couple of green days sorted at least thumbwink
