Hello everyone!

I'm Sarah, 36, mum to three lovely children, who each left me with an extra couple of stones! I started Slimming World on Monday, so far is going well. My husband also needs to lose weight, so he is doing it along with me, which helps. This is the first time in years that I have felt ready and motivated to lose weight, despite being very unhappy about it for a long time.

I have been on green days only, I need to spend some more time reading the books before I try a red.

So far my only craving has been for wine, I am going to get a 250ml bottle for the weekend!

Hi Sarah hiya

Welcome to the forum hunny!

The slimming world plan is great as you never have to feel deprived. There's very little weighing and measuring apart from weighing out certain healthy extras.

That's great that your hubby is doing the plan also. It makes things so much easier when you can cook the same meals instead of something for hubby and the kids and then a sw friendly one for yourself. I'm sure you'll spur each other on no end.

Make yourself at home and Don't hesitate to give us a shout if you need anything

Glad to hear the hubby is onside too, as Janey said it will make it easier for you to follow! And you can have a glass of wine, don't deprive yourself I think that's the whole secret to SW if you want it you can have it.

ACHIEVEMENTS & GOALS : My goal is to get into all the lovely clothes I bought deliberately too small, thinking that would make me succeed. How wrong I was. I would like to get down to 11 stone and everything will fit. If I could get to between 10st 7lbs and 10st 10lbs, I would be a happy bunny indeed, but my target is 11.00st.
