Hello everyone! I have only just joined the forum. I have joined slimming world twice before, lost interest and never attended meetings, just weighed and went! that strategy obviously didn't work, so I joined again last Monday. I'm determined to stay to group and would appreciate any support and advice I have about 5 stone to lose...

Thank you so much for your response, I feel way more determined this time.... I know it will be hard and it is a long term thing rather than a short fix. Still a bit daunting! EEEEEK!!!

Nicky really is an inspiration and as you look around th site you'll see plenty of people on here
that have done really well so far. I'm here for the long haul too. The support on here is fantastic.

I agree with Nicky about it bing about healthy eating. I eat a lot more fresh food than I used to and drink more water and feel better as a result. I am convinced that if you eat junk you crave junk and is definitely the case when I slip up!

I know you probably complete a food diary for your consultant, but by
completing one here you can get feedback the same day rather than
waiting a week. I find this invaluable.

Good luck for your journey x

welcome to this site. Good luck with losing all the weight you would like to lose. It isn't easy, it is hard work but worth it. When I started I had about 9 stone to lose and am now halfway there.

thank you everybody... so many success stories, I would be a fool to lose heart this time. Weighed myself this morning and I have lost 6lbs on my scales, so hopefully this is replicated at SW! Fingers crossed!
