Hi Claire & Kay Bet everyone back home in the UK is wondering why we are all excited about a thunderstorm, but we need rain badly over here!!! And our thunderstorms are pretty spectacular. Is the weather in Turkey and Lebanon similar to here - we are still in summer with temps up in 80's. I'll ask one of the moderators if they can set up a buddy thread for us. Speak to you both soon. xx

Hi Claire Thanks for checking in - I'm so overloaded at work I don't get much time to go on the forums unfortunately, but I'm doing well; nearly two weeks in and holding steady I agree with you that planning is all important - I've found that it's the only way to do this, if I plan ahead and cook up batches in advance then my week runs smoothly. I also find I don't mind eating the same dish a few days in a row, either for lunch or dinner; what about you? Glad to hear you're feeling good, I think if you're feeling positive it makes the whole process a breeze! Kay

Hi Kay, hopefully our buddy thread and your access to other areas of the forum will be sorted soon. We had the thunderstorms for 3 nights in a row, but it now appears to have moved over to you - pretty spectacular, but we've had major floods and damage in Cyprus. It's become much cooler, in the mid 70's, as opposed to the 90's just over a week ago. Hope we can all chat soon and good luck with the food planning!
