Have Faith in yourself!

"So you’ve jumped on the scales and you’ve had a small gain
Or you’ve worked really hard and its still a maintain
Don’t be disheartened, or have feelings of Doubt
It’s just a small blip that can be sorted out.

It's a brand new week and a new start
If you've gained or maintained, you mustn't lose heart
Look to the future and never look back
A little perseverance, and you'll soon be on track

Just look where you are, and from whence you came
Your doing so well, to quit now would be insane
Take a look in the mirror and look deep within
You can do this, be strong, here's a race you can win

In the meantime remember, your not on your own
We're all here to support you, you don't have to go it alone
On Slimming world support, there's always a friend
With the right motivation, you'll get there in the end"

An Ode to Slimming World

Slimming worlds different and actually does work!
I can look at the yo-yo dieters and quietly smirk!
I can eat all I want and get healthy and slim
Whilst they all stand there crying putting treats in the bin
You can't possibly lose weight eating as much food as that
you should be calorie counting, else you'll end up real fat
Ye have Little faith I reply to them all
When I'm 4 dress sizes smaller, you'll be giving me a call
saying wow you look great, How did you do that?
By following Slimming world of course and staying on track.
So have faith in yourselves and remember how far that you've come
Never look back unless its to see how well you have done!

MY HANDS WERE HANGING BY MY HIPS
WHEN HUBBY WALKED BY WITH MACDONALDS CHIPS
MY FINGERS FLEW AND PINCHED JUST ONE
I THOUGHT OH NO...I AM SURELY GONE
BUT I WAS STRONG AND DID NOT WEAKEN
I'M MUNCHING CELERY AS WE'RE SPEAKIN'

All Bran, apples, oranges, grapefruits too
No matter what I just don't poo!
What does it take to shift this stuff
I'm getting mad, I've had enough!!
Healthy extra's by the score
I'm trying but can eat no more
So tell me someone what to
How can I have a daily poo?
Maybe dynamite would do the trick
Perhaps eat it with a carrot stick
Or Dyna-rod might help me out
Cos if all else fails I'll hit the sprouts.

Slimming World girls we all stand together
With love and support to face up to whatever
No matter the challenge, the question, the query
Our Mod's will come through and answer it dearie:-)
Be it values of syns or a HE request
The Mods will come through and give you their best.

Get on now!!!!! They shout at me
You know you really want to see
Have you lost ? Or have you gained ?
Or..... Maybe you have just maintained.

I walk away & don't look back
But !!!!!!!!! My iron will begins to crack
Just this once I'll weigh myself
Then they'll go back on the shelf.

Just one look, a little peek
I've really tried so hard this week
To stick to plan and lose the fat
OMG !!!! THE BATTERIES FLAT.........
