Forum Terms of service

Using the forum. By registering on this forum, you agree to use it properly, and to refrain from posting any content that is aggressive, offensive, defamatory, hateful, or in violation of applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to post messages inciting or evoking illegal practices, or violating the terms of use of the service.

The moderators and administrators of this forum will do their best to delete or edit any reprehensible messages that may be posted on the forum. You acknowledge that all messages posted on this forum express the opinion of their respective authors, and do not necessarily reflect the position of the moderators and administrators.

In order to ensure the moderation of this forum, any message violating the preceding provisions may be edited or deleted without notice by the moderators and administrators of the forum. Any abuse may also be sanctioned by banning or deleting the user account. We reserve the right to inform your access provider and/or the judicial authorities of any malicious behaviour.

Your personal data. By registering on this forum, you agree that it may collect some of your personal data. User names

No user names containing symbols. i.e *~" Are allowed. If you sign up with a user name containing such characters, then a Member of the administration team will contact you informing you of this fact and offer you the chance to change it to a name without the prohibited characters

Inappropriate user names or names we deem inappropriate will be banned. Please ensure you give a specific valid location (i.e. Manchester, London etc...UK/United Kingdom/England/Scotland/Ireland/Wales etc alone will not do) and Internet Service Provider also (i.e. AOL, BT etc) as this is a security requirement. Please note that if you put your browser, i.e. Firefox, Internet Explorer then your account will not be activated. You must also provide a valid e-mail address as this will be required to activate your account. If you don't do so then your account will not be activated. You must post an introduction message within 1 week of joining or your account will be deactivated. Your welcome post will be reviewed within 72 hours by an Administrator who will then activate your access to the main parts of the forum. If there has been no activity on your account for 3 months or more your account will be deleted. It is strictly one account per member. Please note, you must be 18 or over to join this forum.


Copyright Issues

You must ensure that you do not directly copy and paste information from the official Slimming world site as this breaches copyright laws

With regards to the "For sale & Wanted" section, the posting of reproductions of music and videos is prohibited. Any such posts will be deleted immediately


Advertising

Self-promotion and advertising of other websites in anywhere other than the designated forum section will be removed. We consider posting such unrelated messages as spam and your membership will be cancelled with immediate effect.

The advertising of illegal websites of the following nature...Pornographic, warez, racist remarks etc is strictly forbidden. If you violate this rule, your membership will be terminated effective immediately

No advertising of other Slimming World forums please. Any links will be removed immediately.


Your responsibility as a member of this forum

Any member found abusing the private messaging facility with regards to verbal attacks on other members, advertising of other Slimming world forums or illegal websites will be banned indefinitely. We count on your support to inform us of such occurrences.

Users must not use the colourised post title feature. This tool is reserved for the administration staff only

No weight loss tickers from phenform must be used as the site in question promotes dieting pills which goes against everything that Slimming World Advocates

Neither the administrators or moderators of the Slimming World Support Forum can be held responsible for the behaviour of any of it's members of the forum, or any dispute among or between members. However if a member is found to be bullying,harassing or inciting defamation of character, then appropriate action will be taken and steps will be made to expel the perpetrator's involved

Account Activation
